Compost/Mulch

The St. Landry Parish Solid Waste Disposal District diverts wood waste from going into the landfill by grinding it into wood chips to be used as mulch which is available to St. Landry Parish Residents for FREE!

Mulch can be obtained at the St. Landry Parish Landfill Monday thru Friday 8 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. (Please call in advanced before coming to pick up Mulch to check for availability)

Compost is only available at the landfill on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
